Shannon Murray Brief Biography

Shannon Murray (born 1976 in Dublin, Ireland) is an actress, writer, disability consultant and a solicitor. She is the daughter of Frank Murray who was the manager of The Pogues and Thin Lizzy.

Murray was left paralysed from the waist down after a diving accident when she was 14 years old. She then went on to win the first ever search for a disabled model and was the first disabled model to feature in a high profile advertising campaign for the British store Debenhams.
