Todd McDermott is a television journalist. McDermott is a Buffalo, New York native, and he has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Canisius College in Buffalo.

From September 2004 until September 10, 2008, McDermott co-anchored the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscast on WUSA (TV) in Washington, DC. McDermott had been paired with Tracey Neale for the first three years until January 4, 2008, and then was paired with Lesli Foster. During his time at WUSA, Todd won an Emmy for Best Anchor. McDermott is a 20-year television news veteran, and before joining WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, he was with 9NEWS NOW, and before that he was with WCBS-TV in New York where he co-anchored the 5am, 5pm and weekend evening news. He also served as an occasional host and anchor for the CBS Early Show and the CBS Morning News.
