Watership Down is an upcoming British-Irish-American animated television miniseries directed by Noam Murro. It is based on the 1972 novel of the same name by Richard Adams and adapted by Tom Bidwell. The four-part serial will broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom, and will stream internationally on Netflix in 2017.

Production

In July 2014, it was announced that the BBC would be airing a new animated miniseries based on the novel. In April 2016, it was announced that the series would be a co-production between the BBC and Netflix, and would consist of four one-hour episodes. The series will have a budget of 20 million.
