Gleb Savchenko and Elena Samodanova

Gleb Savchenko began dating fellow professional dancer Elena Samodanova in 2006.

Gleb and Elena have been married for over a decade and have two children together -- Daughters Olivia and Zlata.

However, in November 2020, Elena suddenly announced she and Gleb were splitting after 14 years.

"After 14 years of marriage with my deepest sadness our road is coming to an end," Elena wrote alongside a photo of Gleb and herself on Instagram.

The blonde Russian dancer later posted a quote on her Instagram account that seemingly accused Gleb of being at fault for their split.

"I don't hate you, i'm just disappointed you turned into everything you said you'd never be," the quote read.

Not long after Elena broke the news, Gleb posted his own message on Instagram, confirming the breakup with his wife.

"It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage. We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them," Gleb wrote alongside a family photo with Elena and their children.

"We ask that you respect our family's need for privacy and healing during this time."

In a subsequent interview, Elena then accused Gleb of having an affair with Chrishell Stause, his Season 29 celebrity partner.

Gleb and Chrisell have denied Elena's claims they had an affair.
