Finally a Survivor: Pearl Islands prediction that got a little more interesting. Despite the feelings of many viewers who thought that the inept Morgan tribe couldn't possibly lose yet another Immunity Challenge (and thought it likely that either Jon or Rupert would be sent packing), Morgan managed to do just that (never underestimate Osten's ability to contribute to failure) -- resulting in the removal of Lillian Morris from the game. Or so Morgan thinks... remember, those scouts are always prepared for anything.

Without a super-sized "Friends" airing against it this week, CBS's Survivor: Pearl Islands found smoother ratings sailing, and, although NBC will likely still win Thursday among adults 18-49 once the nationals are released, the performance helped lead CBS over the once unstoppable NBC lineup in the overnight ratings.

Another week, another widely predicted Survivor: Pearl Islands result. After putting on a rather sorry performance during his crew's challenges, Cap'n Andrew and and the rest of his lead-blowing buccaneers showed Ryan Shoulders no quarter and gave him the heave-ho at their second consecutive Tribal Council.

NBC's Friends and CBS's Survivor have resumed their titanic Thursday night battles, and, according to preliminary affiliate based National Nielsen ratings for Sept. 25., both shows are clearly off and running.
