After Tyra’s outburst from last week, the girls are a bit frazzled and are trying to calm down and stuff. In walks Tyra who looks a bit sheepish. She wants to explain to the girls why she had an outburst and stuff. Basically, it infuriated her to see super-reformed-girl (Tiffany) give up so easily when she had so much potential. The girls are much calmer after they saw Tyra.
Some of the girls decide to move in to the Bel-Air room. Super-exotic-girl (Tatiana) is not all that excited. She explains that she has not really bonded with any girls and she feels a little left out. Super-wrestling-dudette (Michelle), on the other hand, comments that she has gained tons of confidence over the weeks and that she now knows that she is beautiful.
The next day, they go somewhere and they see Jann Carl from Entertainment Tonight. Jann will show the girls how to be interviewed. One girl will be the interviewer and one girl will be the interviewee and then roles reversed. Most girls manage to do a decent job. Jann liked super-wrestling-dudette (Michelle) quite a bit because she was really natural and genuine… nothing was fake about her. Super-weird-eyes-girl (Christina) realizes that this is an opportunity where she can show that she can be warm and all… but she makes a mistake: she uses “actually” all the time. Between her and her interviewee, they use it like 9 times before Jann intervenes and says that they are not allowed to use that word again.
That night, the girls go out to a bar. Super-wrestling-dudette (Michelle) says that she never goes out in Indiana so she’s a little nervous at the prospect of going out in LA. Well, turns out that her boost of confidence helped her quite a bit. She was dancing and having fun and let loose. Super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl (Kahlen) said that it was the most fun that she has had in the competition so far.

But that fun turns sour… Back at the loft, super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl (Kahlen) listens to her voicemails and learns that one of her friends from childhood has died. She is quite crushed by this.
The next day, they have to be up at the crack of dawn. Their assignment is to interview rapper, actress, and designer Eve and Jann will review the interviews. Most girls are either star struck or lose their train of thoughts. Of course, super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl (Kahlen) is quite affected by the death of her friend so she has a hard time focusing. However, she asked Eve whether she had a boyfriend and such; Eve was taken a bit aback by that question; and Jann said that super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl got extra point for asking that very question as she was the only one who went for the personal stuff. Super-exotic-girl (Tatiana) does a superb job at her interview. But super-weird-eyes-girl (Christina) did an even better job because she knew quite a bit about Eve. So super-weird-eyes-girl wins the challenge and the win is that her interview was going to be featured in Entertainment Tonight. Cool!
They receive Tyra mail that is not too cryptic this time. It says that they should be ready to “rest in peace.” Of course, super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl (Kahlen) is not too thrilled at the idea and hopes that it’s not what she’s thinking… well, yeah, that’s exactly it. They arrive at the location, which is a cemetary. And then they are welcomed by super-makeup-dude (Jay Manuel) who tells them that the photo shoot today will be about the 7 deadly sins since they are seven and that it will take place at the bottom of an 8-foot deep grave. Super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl almost loses it there. Super-makeup-dude can’t help but notice and he asks her what is the matter and whether she wants to talk about it. She doesn’t want to say anything. Later, super-makeup-dude asks other girls if they know what is the problem with super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl and one girl says what happened. Super-makeup-dude is really bummed at the horrible timing. Most girls have a hard time posing well in the coffin and not being just confined in there. They also struggled at impersonating their sin. Super-funky-girl (Naima) and super-sexy-girl (Brittany) fare very well, though. Super-Meg-Ryan-like-girl was wrath and super-makeup-dude and the photographer helped her channel her energies towards anger and rage. It seemed to work out well.
