The last thing you want to do in any industry is copy someone’s style exactly and not do a good job. Sara definitely learned her lesson on the art of the copy. We’ll get to that later. In this copycat episode, the girls had to learn the art of Thai dancing. Since Nnenna and her boyfriend’s arguments are no longer an issue, let us turn our attention to Jade and Joanie’s word attacks. “You seem to be the two-faced type,” says Jade to Joanie. “When I sit next to you all I smell is bitch,” comments Joanie to Jade. Oh my, what will Joanie’s preacher dad say when he sees this episode.
The girls first challenge is to learn the art of how to Thai Dance. As they watch the instructor, Danielle is not feeling well because of a migraine headache but pushes through the class. All of a sudden, we see a man rushing Danielle to the hospital. As it turns out, Danielle was suffering from exhaustion, a little food poisoning and dehydration. She did not make the Thai dance challenge and this could hurt her chances to becoming America’s Next Top Model.
Back at the theatre, the girls prepare to perform their Thai dance to a full house along with special judges. Jade thought she was doing pretty well. However, the judges thought she was stiff. Joanie did very well and her smile added a special touch to her dance. Furonda did every movement but Thai. The audience had a good laugh but the judges were not amused. The judges were disappointed that Sara did not show any confidence in her dance.
The ultimate winner was Joanie and she chose Sara to share her prize because Sara has not won anything. This was a very nice gesture however; Sara thought it was a handout. “If you want to choose me let it be because you want my company and not because you feel sorry for me.” Yuck! How ungrateful can you be? There are only four of you and you have not won anything, duh. I don’t think she said thank you to Joanie for the pity vote. All the girls in the house have a lot of maturing to do.

Meanwhile, Danielle knows she cannot hide in the hospital and forfeit her place in the competition because she needs a little extra sleep and some water. “I need to get the strength to get through this,” says Danielle. She will need her strength for the next challenge, which is to sit on an elephant.
This week’s product pitch is for Venus Power Razor for women. The girls had to shave their legs so that it can look smoother than an elephant’s skin. Have you ever seen anyone’s skin look like elephant skin? If you have, they will need more than a Venus razor to correct the problem. Anyway, the girls looked great and Joanie pulled out her trump card and did a fabulous job. It was so great that Mr. Jay yelled, “You better work, bitch.” Translation…You’re doing an excellent job. It was so good that Sara thought she would try the very same thing. It was horrible and she looked awful trying to imitate a pro. Back at the house Sara is crying to Danielle stating, “I thought to copy someone was a form of flattery. Ah Ha! Good one Sara, but we don’t buy it. You are awful at posing and you know it. Before we go through the elimination process, let’s take a commercial break with my colleague Dalia, who always has to put in her two cents…
“Hi everyone, this is my breakdown of all the girls… Joanie worked that elephant as if it was a two-dollar pole. I like Furonda but she is still awkward and it will take some time before she can reach super model status. She just does not know how to work her awkwardness to her advantage. The last two standing will be Danielle and Joanie but Joanie has the upper hand because I cannot understand a word that comes out of Danielle’s mouth… Now back to the show.
At the elimination ceremony, the girls were asked to express themselves using only their body and not their face. They were given a mask and had to show three emotions… compassion, despair and sensuality. Furonda can be great and horrible at the same time. “A stylist would find it hard to work with you,” stated the guest judge from Thai Elle. The judges asked Sara if she was thinking like a model. Give it a rest already and stop badgering the girl about wanting this title. Remember, they came after her and it’s not as if Sara was standing on line like the rest of the hopefuls vying for a chance to get a spot on the show. It feels like a police line up when the criminals are forced into believing whatever and saying, “OKAY…I did it! Sara had better not crack. Jade’s photo session was beautiful but she was very stiff this week. Danielle has to work on speaking clearly and loosing her southern accent. Joanie must show some personality in front of the judges.
In the end, it was Furonda and Jade in the bottom two. It’s hard to believe that Sara has not been in the bottom two as much as Jade. The judges felt that Furonda has a great personality however; she still does not get it. The judges feel Jade is Jade and she marches to the beat of her own drum. “If you knew everything, you would be a super model by now,” explains Tyra. Tyra reveals Jade’s photo and sends Furonda home.
