Danny Frismuth was a 23-year-old from Norristown, PA, and Amy Frishmuth was a 21-year-old from Cape Town, South Africa when Amy arrived in America on a K-1 visa.
Danny and Amy met in Australia while enjoying a Bible-study trip.
It didn't take long for them to fall in love and get engaged, but it did take time for Danny's father to accept Amy into the family given she is not Caucasian.
Danny and Amy got married in 2014 and are still together to this day.
They live now in Texas with their son, Jedidiah John Frishmuth, and daughter, Anna Elise Frishmuth.
In May 2020, the couple announced Amy was pregnant with their third child.
"Officially family of 5," Danny captioned an Instagram video he posted showing the couple sharing the new baby news with Jedidiah and Anna.
