The pair fell in love after Rebecca experienced three failed marriages, and they first starred on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.
Rebecca's third marriage was with a Moroccan man who had moved to America to be with her on a spousal visa and allegedly became jealous and controlling once he arrived in the U.S.
Rebecca was sure, however, her relationship with Zied would be different and Zied is a better man.
And so although her divorce paperwork had yet to be finalized, she flew over 15 hours to Tunisia with the goal of getting engaged to Zied.
Despite their differences and past mistakes, Rebecca and Zied determined that they wanted to be together forever -- and so Zied proposed marriage during a picnic in the Sahara Desert at the end of Rebecca's visit.
On 90 Day Fiance's eighth season, Zied's K-1 visa was finally approved and he moved to the United States after two years of a long-distance relationship.
"We've been through this before, where she's met foreign men who are half her age pretty much, and it just always goes bad," Rebecca's daughter Tiffany complained in a confessional.
"It's like she's a love-sick teenager. But we still don't know his intentions."

But Zied insisted his intentions were pure and he hated being compared to Rebecca's Moroccan ex. (Rebecca and her third ex-husband finalized their divorce on July 9, 2019, according to divorce documents obtained by In Touch Weekly).

Rebecca was also afraid Zied would change his mind about not needing children since she's incapable of having more kids, and she wasn't happy when Zied requested they rush their wedding so they could continue living in the same apartment during Ramadan, a religious Muslim holiday that lasts a month.
With 67 days left to wed on Zied's K-1 visa, Rebecca lamented, "It's possible he could be playing me just like my ex from Morocco did. [This situation] makes me feel like telling him, 'Go live somewhere else.'"
Rebecca, wondering in the back of her mind if Zied was using her, snapped at her fiance, "So you're a strict Muslim one month out of the year?"
Zied suggested they could have "a beautiful wedding" in Tunisia after coronavirus ends, and so Rebecca seemed to come around to the idea of tying the knot before Ramadan. Rebecca said she didn't want to lose Zied.
With only four days left to wed before Ramadan, Rebecca lost her engagement ring and was feeling so rushed, hectic and frazzled. A cabin resort, however, agreed to host the couple's wedding.

While Rebecca searched for her engagement ring, Zied was playing video games and didn't seem to care.

Rebecca said she felt like she was on a train that was going "90 miles an hour."
"I honestly kind of feel like I woke up on the train that I never even meant to get on," Rebecca confessed.
"I think getting married should be easy and beautiful, and none of this feels that way. So I don't know if I should get off the train or ride it out."
In April 2020, Rebecca and Zied only had two days left to wed, and Rebecca felt everything had gone wrong. Even Rebecca's wedding dress didn't fit!
"I would be lying if I said that pulling out of this didn't cross my mind at least once or twice," Rebecca confessed to the cameras.
Despite Tiffany's doubts and concerns for her mother, she attended Rebecca's wedding, and everything went smoothly and beautifully amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"I am so happy to have a woman like Rebecca. She is so beautiful," Zied said.
Zied said the wedding felt like a fairy tale, and Rebecca told the cameras that she couldn't wait to go home with Zied and be alone with him. After the wedding, the couple took off together in the horse-drawn carriage.

On Part 1 of 90 Day Fiance's eighth-season Tell-All special, Zied gushed about Rebecca's "sexy" new look after she underwent some injections and plastic-surgery procedures.
Rebecca insisted she's more confident than ever but still gets jealous when pretty American women talk to or flirt with Zied.
Rebecca's daughter Tiffany also shared that she's now convinced Zied loves Rebecca and is the United States for the right reasons.

So are Rebecca and Zied still together and married or did the 90 Day Fiance couple break up?
Rebecca and Zied obtained their marriage license on April 14, 2020 and then got married in Lumpkin County, GA, on April 19, 2020, according to a representative from the Probate Court in Cherokee County, In Touch Weekly reported.It appears Rebecca and Zied are still a couple and living together in Georgia, and that their relationship is thriving.
On April 13, 2021 Rebecca posted a video of Zied in his new Lexus convertible when he was able to pick it up at the dealership. Rebecca gushed about it being his "dream car," so Zied's American dreams are clearly coming true.

Not long before that, Rebecca posted photos of Zied posing with her son and son-in-law Micah and she wrote, "Hatchets are buried. Friends are made." Zied has clearly blended into Rebecca's family nicely and is now getting along with everyone.
Zied posted the same photos around the same time as well as a video of himself driving his new car in the U.S. and a picture of Rebecca in which he called her "my love."
Rebecca also posted a selfie of Zied kissing her on the cheek in early April and captioned it, "Happy Easter."
Zied replied to Rebecca's post in the comments and wrote, "Happy Easter baby. I love you," along with multiple smiling emoticons and red-heart emojis.
Zied also uploaded a cute photo of the couple around the same time.
In late March, Rebecca posted a selfie and captioned it, "No filter... just glowing happy." Rebecca then tagged Zied in her post and added, "I love you baby."
Rebecca and Zied also took Tiffany out for a birthday lunch and wrote on Instagram that Tiffany "just loves her new stepdad."
Rebecca also uploaded a video of Zied dancing to music outside of their car, and Rebecca gushed, "THIS is why I love him. Always ready to just enjoy life."

Earlier that month, Rebecca also posted a funny video of Zied using a Snapchat filter for the first time. The lovebirds were cracking up laughing together and seemed to be really happy.
"Y'all this is so funny! @tlc_90day_zied seeing himself with a filter," Rebecca captioned the post along with multiple crying-laughing emoticons.
Rebecca also bragged Zied is "the purest soul on earth" because he made an elaborate cage for his gerbils at home.
"Just look at the details," Rebecca noted. "I love him."
Zied additionally posted a slideshow of photos from his wedding and captioned the post with multiple heart-eyes emoticons, hearts and smiley faces.
In early March, Zied showed he's still in the United States by taking a trip to Six flags with three of his male friends.
In mid-February, Rebecca posted a photo of herself wearing an apron that reads, "I [love] you like Zied [love]s Rebecca."
"Y'all when I saw this, I literally got tears in my eyes!! One of my wonderful followers on Facebook sent this to me. She had this made as a Valentine's Day gift," Rebecca gushed in the caption.
Around that same time, Zied posted a video montage featuring Rebecca and himself for Rebecca's birthday. He wished Rebecca a "happy birthday" and seemed to still be smitten with her.

And in February, Rebecca posted on Instagram suggesting she and Zied remain a team against haters and skeptics.

"And that's okay. I appreciate the many messages I have received since last night. Also please remember I had a tough time meeting his friends and family as well. Everything will work itself out, one way or another."
"Ultimately, we knew our relationship would face a lot of tests," she continued.
"It's how we handle these tests that will determine if we make it or not. But I really wish it were easier for Zied. No matter what, he does not deserve to be compared to anyone else. We really appreciate everyone's support. Thank you."
In fact, Rebecca revealed on 90 Day Bares All she is no longer friends with Melanie and will never forgive her for telling Zied about Rebecca having lived in the same apartment building with her third husband.
And in January, Rebecca wished Zied a happy birthday and said he deserves all the blessings he receives. She also posted an entire slideshow featuring sweet and affectionate photos of Zied and herself.
