One of those 11 quarterfinalist acts, a dance illusion act called AIRFOOTWORKS, had received Howie's Golden Buzzer on Tuesday night, which will automatically send the group to America's Got Talent's Season 19 finals.
That left 10 acts vying for America's votes following their impressive live performances.
After the home viewers votes poured in, America's Got Talent host Terry Crews announced the three highest vote-getters who will move on to the Season 19 semifinals during Wednesday night's one-hour broadcast.
The three most popular acts who advanced in the competition on August 21 were Canadian singer Alex Sampson, drone display Sky Elements, and Korean magician Young-Min.
Alex had performed an original song on Tuesday night, which was a risky move that clearly paid off.
Sofia had called Alex "a star," and Heidi predicted that all of the girls at home are going crazy for him.
When Sky Elements had performed and created a circus-themed light show, Simon said they somehow managed to top their first AGT audition.
And Howie had called Young-Min's magic act "truly amazing." Young-Min also won over Simon, who apologized on Tuesday night for dissing the magician's previous audition.
Since Alex Sampson, Sky Elements and Young-Min survived the quarterfinals, the seven remaining acts were eliminated from the show.
The seven acts who didn't earn a Golden Buzzer or enough votes to advance to the semifinals were Ashlee Montague, Bboy Samuka, Biko's Manna, Brooke Bailey, Legion, NiNi, and Schumacher.
The quarterfinals round will consist of two more episodes, with 11 acts taking the stage each night.

The third live quarterfinals episode will air Tuesday, August 27 at 8PM ET/PT, and another America's Got Talent live results show will follow on Wednesday, August 28 at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
Once the quarterfinals round comes to a close, 12 acts will compete in the semifinals beginning on September 10 for only six spots in the finals, based on home viewers' votes.
Those six acts will then join the four Live Show Golden Buzzers and perform in America's Got Talent's two-night finale on Tuesday, September 17 and Tuesday, September 24 on NBC.
