American Idol featured auditions in Philadelphia, PA, and some really talented girls showed up during Wednesday night's broadcast on Fox.

Gianna Isabella, a 15-year-old student from Jackson, NJ, sang "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals after revealing her mother is the famous Brenda K. Starr, who's known for the hit song "I Still Believe." Brenda used to dance at Jennifer Lopez's old studio in New York, so the two popstars know each other.
After Gianna belted out the song, Jennifer and her fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. asked Brenda to enter the room to hear her daughter's good news.
Brenda and Jennifer exchanged a big hug, and then the judges asked a teary-eyed Brenda to hand Gianna a golden ticket to Hollywood. Brenda was so emotional because she's extremely proud of her daughter, who apparently stays in all the time to work on her music when her friends go out and party.
Sara Sturm, a 17-year-old student from Centreville, VA, sang "Lips Are Movin'" by Meghan Trainor. Her bubbly personality was infectious and Jennifer appreciated how fearless she was in singing the song. Harry called her "special" and noted she has a voice beyond her years. Keith pointed out she was one of his favorite auditions all day. With that said, the judges offered her a coveted ticket to Hollywood.
Jenn Blosil, a 23-year-old in child care from Brooklyn, NY, entered the audition room shyly. Jenn proved herself to be quite the quirky girl, acting a little awkward as the judges giggled in attempt to understand her. What happened next surprised the judges.
Jenn sat down at the piano and performed "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. Her voice resembled that of Sia's because it had so much character, dynamic and range. She also showed off intentional but natural cracks in her voice when she hit any high notes, which is something Sia is known for, especially in her new song "Alive."
Jennifer called the artist interesting and almost compelling, while Harry admitted he never expected her voice to sound that way. Keith added that she was "very present" in her vocal. The artist was then advanced to the next round.
Some great male singers were put through to Hollywood but via split decision. Keith and Harry wavered on whether a couple of the guys were really good enough or ready for this competition.
