Big Brother evicted Amber Borzotra from the house during Thursday night's seventeenth broadcast of the show's sixteenth season on CBS.

Leading up to Amber's eviction, Amber made it clear to her girlfriends she was mad at Zach Rance for nominating her and then calling her out at the ceremony for treating Caleb Reynolds badly.
Amber asked Frankie Grande, the week's Head of Household, why he didn't just nominate Zach when he was annoying mostly everyone in the house. Frankie replied that he put her up on the chopping block only because Caleb had been passionate about the decision. Frankie pretended like it wasn't his decision to make.
Afterward, Amber confronted Caleb about the news, and he said it was apparent she was drifting towards the other side of the house by hanging out with Nicole Franzel, Victoria Rafaeli and Jocasta. Amber said she was loyal to the "Bomb Squad" alliance -- which had actually become "The Detonators," a group of five people not including Amber or Caleb -- and it felt like "one big slap in the face."
Once Amber argued her loyalty and disappointment in Caleb, the country boy began thinking he had made a big mistake. He believed Amber didn't deserve to be on the block and he didn't want to see her get evicted, so he broke down and cried to Frankie. Frankie let him take all the blame for Amber's position on the block although she had been his No. 1 target for the week.
Amber felt completely backstabbed, as Caleb admitted their entire alliance thought it was a good idea to nominate her.
Christine Brecht, however, thought keeping Amber around would help her game. As a member of both the "Bomb Squad" and "Detonators," she tried to convince the guys to evict Jocasta. Amber's main target had switched from Zach to Caleb, so Christine explained to the group they should just allow Amber to go after him.
But Frankie still thought Amber was "unpredictable" and therefore dangerous. Caleb also seemed to trust her just as much, if not more than, the guys. Frankie then decided to tell Caleb that Amber was coming after him for "ruining her game." Caleb flipped out and noted in a confessional it felt like "a knife in his back" and "dagger in his heart." He said he had been blinded since Day 1.
"Team America" -- comprised of Derrick Levasseur, Frankie and Donny Thompson -- received their next mission.
The guys were tasked with voting against the majority in the house and then blame two other houseguests of being the ones responsible for the eviction fallout. Donny especially was against the plan considering he was playing a low-key, nice-guy kind of game and never called people out for anything. Therefore, the threesome thought it was too risky for their games and failed to complete the mission.
The episode concluded with a memory-based Head of Household challenge. Two new HoH's will be crowned during Big Brother's upcoming Sunday night episode.
