Big Brother's new Head of Household Liz Nolan nominated two houseguests for eviction during Sunday night's episode on CBS.

Before Liz was crowned HoH, Steve Moses was still dealing with the aftermath of being HoH during the special double eviction and eliminating Jackie Ibarra from the game. Steve thought he had done a great job of convincing both sides of the house he was working with them, but by nominating and evicting Jackie, he worried he messed up his game and betrayed Becky Burgess, John McGuire, James Huling and Meg Maley.

Steve admitted he never wanted to win that HoH competition and he probably made a huge mistake in targeting Jackie instead of Becky, who is probably the bigger target considering she actually wins competition. Steve figured he'd get backdoored soon.

Becky's alliance felt like the underdogs, like they were fighting the entire house at this point. Meg was upset with Steve for not explaining his decision to oust Jackie to anyone. He hadn't confided any information with that group, but he later told them he had heard from Vanessa Rousso that Jackie was going after him. Meg assured Steve that Jackie never had any intention of targeting him.

However, Meg and Becky told Steve that they had no hard feelings toward him. Steve didn't know whether they were good liars and had amazing gameplay, but either way, them being so forgiving and nice to him was great for his game. Steve also got it in good with the twins, Vanessa and Austin Matelson. The twins, especially, planned to protect him.

It then became time for an emojis-themed Head of Household competition. Liz ended up winning the competition, defeating runner-up John. It was an exciting finish because there was a representative from both sides of the house going against each other.

Becky was pretty positive she was going to be targeted. She figured Vanessa was going to convince the masses to do her dirty work for her. Liz thought about nominating John and Meg with the plan to backdoor Becky. Austin, Liz, Julia and Vanessa created a new "Austin's Angels" alliance.

However, Becky told Austin and the twins that Vanessa was completely in charge of a previous plan to backdoor Austin. Becky said she works with anyone in the house who benefits her own game, and she wouldn't have a problem throwing any one of her allies under the bus. Austin had no idea Vanessa was once planning his demise in the game.

The news shocked Austin and the twins, and they began questioning whether they should continue working with and trusting Vanessa going forward. Later on, Steve joined the foursome and they called themselves "The Scamper Squad."

Vanessa tried to work with John but he just wasn't having it. When Vanessa tried to talk game with John and strengthen their relationship, John just copped an attitude and called her a bully. John pointed out he disliked how Vanessa cried all the time and yelled at people. His behavior made Vanessa want to go after him.

It then became time for the Nomination Ceremony. Liz told the cameras she was going after the biggest threats to her and Julia Nolan's game while taking into account her previous loyalties.

In the end, Liz nominated Becky and John, but she really hadn't determined yet whom was her target and whom was the pawn. Liz was still unsure what to think about Vanessa, but she had plenty of time to think things over.
