Blake Abelard was a 29-year-old audio engineer and music producer from California, and Jasmin Abelard was a 27-year-old model from Finland, when they starred on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance.
The pair met on a dating app, and Blake said he realized by his third trip to Finland that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jasmin.
Blake therefore submitted paperwork to obtain a K-1 visa, and Jasmin moved to America with the intent of marrying Blake.
Although Blake and Jasmin found their lifestyles and interests didn't mesh and Jasmin didn't even get along with Blake's friends, the pair were shown tying the knot on 90 Day Fiance's seventh season.
Blake's loved ones were skeptical of Jasmin's intentions and whether she was just looking for Green Card, but the couple is still together and thriving in America.
On January 25, Jasmin posted a bathroom selfie of the couple and captioned it, "That's my baby." Blake had his arm around Jasmin in the photo and she was smiling big.
Blake also openly spoiled the current status of his relationship with Jasmin by gushing about his love for her in a January 2020 Instagram post.
"The fact that I get to see her smile every day, reminds me of all the nights I worked, the beats/productions I sold, and all the clients I've recorded, just to see her...and it was TOTALLY worth it," Blake captioned a slideshow of photos of Jasmin.
"We're growing as one and its the greatest thing ever. We shun negativity out of our lives just by simply reminding ourselves that, it's US, not them."
Blake concluded, "I got her here on my own. I'm taking care of her on my own. I could care less what anyone says. This woman is my everything, my [world]. I love u @jasminaniel."
Blake tagged the location of his post about Jasmin as "to the moon and back."
Blake also revealed he'd like to have two or three children with Jasmin in the future.
