"I think I would be hesitant, just because this process sucked for me," the former Miss North Carolina told Us at the filming of The Bachelor: The Women Tell All on Friday. "I mean, it was absolute hell for me."
Colton eliminated Caelynn when narrowing down his search for love from four women to only three -- the three women who will expect to receive an overnight Fantasy Suite date in the next romantic destination.
Caelynn was ousted in fourth place after telling Colton she was "in love" with him.
She also had to deal with a lot of drama over the course of the season, first with her pageant rival Hannah Brown and then with Tayshia Adams, who alleged Caelynn wanted to be the next Bachelorette and also wasn't ready to get engaged and settle down.
Caelynn told Colton on the show she was "shocked" by such accusations, and she was forced to spend a lot of her private time with the 27-year-old charity founder and former pro football player defending herself.
"I was like, 'What, me? These people are saying that I want to be Bachelorette?' Because that was the furthest thing from my mind because I was in love with Colton," Caelynn, who finished as the runner-up of Miss USA last year, told the magazine.
"But also because, I mean, there were several days where I would go to producers and be like, 'I'm leaving, I can't deal with this.' Because it was hard, it was emotional. It was so incredibly hard for me."

Caelynn also couldn't believe Tayshia had backstabbed her considering they were friends during filming.
"It sucks that my character comes into question. It's not fun, but I think what hurt the worst was Tayshia and I were friends from Night 1 and she was helping me get ready for my one-on-one," Caelynn explained.

"We were great friends and I was completely shocked... There's other girls that I could expect that from, but not Tayshia."
When Caelynn exited the competition, she made it clear she's rooting for Cassie Randolph to win because she had told the bachelorette, "Get engaged," on her way out.
Caelynn's ouster seemed particularly tough because she had just introduced Colton to her family in Fredericksburg, VA. Caelynn broke down into tears and sobbed when Colton let her go.
"I am shocked. I feel completely blindsided. I 100 percent believed I was getting engaged at the end of this, but Colton fooled me," Caelynn said in her final words during Monday night's episode.
"For the first time I let myself go there and think it was going to happen and see our future, and then as soon as I let myself do that, he said he wasn't feeling the same. I knew it was too good to be true."

"I just have sh-t luck when it comes to love," she added.
"As soon as I allow myself to feel that way, I get... dumped. I hope there's someone out there for me. I really thought it was going to be us, so I don't know what is next. My heart feels broken."
