Cheryl Burke, has ditched her plans to co-host Miss USA.

As for Burke's explanation, it's "in light of the recent statements made by Donald Trump," who co-owns the pageant as well as Miss Universe.
Burke was reportedly set to co-host Miss USA with MSNBC anchor Thomas Robert on NBC, however, the network announced Monday it was dropping the broadcast from its schedule.
NBC was pressured to cut ties with Trump after he had made derogatory comments about undocumented Mexican immigrants while kicking off his 2016 presidential campaign. NBC also followed in the footsteps of Univision, a Spanish-language TV station who wants nothing to do with the pageant anymore.
Trump has threatened to sue both networks for breach of contract.
"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best... They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people," Trump had said in his speech a couple weeks ago.
Both co-hosts of the Univision telecast, Roselyn Sanchez and Cristian de la Fuente, also insisted they would no longer take part in the event.
