"Being married to Kiki feels like everything in life happened exactly the way it was supposed to," Koko shared.

"He is my best friend, dance partner, and the love of my life all in one. Loving him is easy and being married to him makes me feel really lucky and giddy inside. It feels exactly right."

Koko and Kiki both wanted "outdoor energy" for their wedding weekend, and so they were thrilled to exchange vows with a forest backdrop and the ocean off to one side.

"Kiki and I both wanted outdoor energy for our entire wedding weekend," Koko told Brides, adding that her wedding venue "felt like a dream" for the happy couple.

"I love the mountains and I just knew I wanted to be surrounded by them -- and we wanted our family and friends to experience the magic of the Pacific Northwest," she said.

Koko walked down the aisle in an A-line dress with white calla lilies and a custom veil, and her gown happened to be the "very first dress" she had tried on.

"After three days of dress shopping, I had a dream of myself wearing that first KYHA dress. I called first thing in the morning and went to buy it," she recalled.

Koko said her reception had "great food, great music, and great quality time" with family and friends, and she and Kiki also had a special intimate first dance.

"Because we as a couple always perform and choreograph dances for our work, we felt it was more special to truly be in the moment and improvise," Koko explained.

"We wanted to not stress about the pressure of performing a routine, so we slow-danced naturally and it was perfect. I just followed Kiki's lead."

Fellow Dancing with the Stars pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson attended the wedding.

Val had choreographed a salsa routine for Koko and Kiki on their So You Think You Can Dance season, and the routine ended with Koko and Kiki sharing their first kiss and having explosive chemistry on the stage.

Prior to the couple's wedding ceremony, the bride and groom decided to meditate with each other.

"Kiki and I meditated on the edge of this beautiful cliff. We love meditating and doing breathwork together, so it was only right to add it to our big day," Koko shared. "It was a tender, special, and really impactful moment I'll remember forever."

Kiki had proposed marriage to his love in Big Bear Lake, CA, on November 26, 2022.

"11/26/22 -- Easy ask, easy yes," the couple wrote on Instagram.

In one of the images, Koko showed off her beautiful diamond engagement ring.

One day later, Koko gushed about her engagement in a solo posting on her Instagram account.

"I just keep replaying this moment over and over again. I've never been more surprised and caught off guard in my life," Koko shared.

"Messy hair, nails undone, sweat pants, and just the most raw version of myself. As I noticed Kiki's energy shift, I realized what was happening and I just about sh*t myself."

The dancer and choreographer continued, "Both of our families were on FaceTime watching and it was all I ever wanted. It was just us and our pups, in nature between the water and the mountains. It was the most perfect moment of my life. And @kikinyemchek is perfect for my soul. He is my fiance."

Earlier that year, Kiki had called Koko "the most special person" in his life when wishing her a happy birthday.

"I'm grateful for ALL of our moments together and I look forward to making more with you always and forever. I love you," Kiki wrote on Instagram.

The couple met and competed against each other on Season 14 of So You Think You Can Dance in Summer 2017.

Koko, who was a 20-year-old contemporary dancer from Pembroke Pines, FL at the time, finished in second place while Kiki made it to the Top 4 of So You Think You Can Dance.

Koko later confirmed her romantic relationship with Kiki via Instagram in April 2018.

"Every day with you is so special. My love.. We screeeaaam of laughter together. We order 6 meals minimum at any restaurant and eat ALL of it. You bring out my biggest, most cheesiest smile and you adore me on my absolute worst days," Koko captioned a photo of the pair smiling backstage in each other's arms.

"Living life with you is pure bliss & I thank you for YOU every single day. Living life with you is pure bliss & I thank you for YOU every single day."

Koko made her Dancing with the Stars debut as a pro partner on Season 31. She was partnered with former Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino.

Koko and Vinny survived the vote week to week despite landing at the bottom of the judges' leaderboard; however, they were sent packing before Dancing with the Stars' semifinals on Disney+.
