Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X's new Vanua tribe voted Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor out following a swap during Wednesday night's Episode 5 broadcast on CBS.

CeCe, a 39-year-old insurance adjuster from Granada Hills, CA, became the fifth castaway voted out of Survivor's 33rd season on Night 15 at Tribal Council.

The new Vanua tribe, featuring a mix of Gen Xers and millennials, had to vote one of their own members off after they lost the game's fifth Immunity Challenge to the opposing Takali and Ikabula tribes. CeCe was blindsided by her fellow Gen Xers because they convinced her that Michelle Schubert, a millennial, was going home.

During an exclusive interview with Reality TV World on Thursday, CeCe talked about her Survivor experience. Below is the first half. Check back with us soon for the concluding portion.

Reality TV World: You said in your final words you were blindsided. What exactly were you thinking was going to happen heading into Tribal Council? Whom did you think was voting for Michelle Schubert with you?

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: I thought that [Chris Hammons] and [David Wright] were, that we were sticking to the plan of trying to keep the Gen X numbers strong, and I thought we were going to vote out Michelle. That was the plan and, you know, I trusted Dave because we were in an alliance together. I thought that's what was going to happen. I thought we were going to vote out Michelle.

Reality TV World: You also said in those final words your two fellow Gen Xers, David and Chris, are going to lose now that they've betrayed you. Clearly that shows you think they made a bad strategic move for their games. Could you explain why you think they made a mistake?

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: Absolutely! Because first of all, they are not showing their loyalty, and that's going to be apparent in the next episode or so. I mean, the Gen Xers are going to see, "Hey, we had this agreement that we were going to try to keep the numbers together," and Chris and Dave backstabbed me -- and I was part of the alliance.

So [the Gen Xers] are going to look at [the situation] and say, "Well, I definitely can't trust Dave. I definitely can't trust Chris." And Chris is also a physical threat too, so now you're a physical threat and you can't be trusted.

So it's like, okay, well, I just don't think it's going to help their gameplay going further in the game. I don't think it's going to further them along at all because of that.

Reality TV World: Chris mentioned how you and Dave had betrayed him multiple times, but that seemed odd to me because I never got the impression you were ever working with him or in his alliance. So could you clarify what he meant by that? Was he talking about the Lucy Huang and Paul Wachter votes?

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: Yeah, you know, Chris was talking out of his behind yesterday because I had no loyalty to Chris whatsoever prior to this whole agreeing to keep the Gen X numbers. Because Chris has been gunning for me since Day 1.

We were never in an alliance; I was never in a majority alliance. I was always with [Ken McNickle] and Dave. So I have no idea what he's talking about, backstabbing him?! I never backstabbed him because we never had an agreement.

The only thing I can think about is I believe that at one point everyone was talking about voting out [Jessica Lewis] because Jessica backstabbed Chris, but then I'm like, "Why do you think I'd be loyal to you because Jessica backstabbed you and Jessica was a part of you alliance? I was never part of your alliance."

So for him to think that I would be loyal to him for that and vote out Jessica -- who was a part of his alliance -- it doesn't even make sense. The only thing he can say is maybe Dave, maybe Dave had a conversation with Chris in the majority before initially about that.

But I never had any alliance with Chris whatsoever. So, I don't know why he mentioned me backstabbing him because we never voted together, ever! I was just like, "What are you talking about?"

Reality TV World: David found a second hidden Immunity Idol. Did anyone suspect Dave or anyone else had found the idol?

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: Not at all. I don't think anyone -- it took us an hour. We were out there, actually, for an hour looking for that idol. And when they showed on TV that Dave found the idol, I was actually right near him, but there was no inclination that actually anyone found the idol.

We just assumed that no one found the idol and we kind of thought, "Well, maybe we'll have another shot to look for the idol another time." It was just like, "Hey, let's have an idol search party!"

But we didn't think anyone actually found the idol because if I had any thought cross [my mind] that Dave had found an idol, one, I would've asked him and questioned him about the idol, and definitely, I would've pondered him to use it since he used it on Jessica, who wasn't even a part of our alliance.

I would've begged him to use the idol on me. And just to see that he was even thinking about using the idol and he didn't, that just breaks my heart! I'm just like, "Oh my goodness."

We were supposed to be in the same alliance and, one, you got the idol, and you didn't even use it to help me out. So that was definitely heartbreaking to see that he had the idol, and two, he thought about using it on me and didn't use it.

Reality TV World: Looking at it from Dave's perspective, do you think he made the right move in choosing NOT to play his idol for you?

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: I mean, I think Dave is playing the game very well, so it may actually work in his favor. Because I think Dave's mindset is he doesn't want to piss Chris off any more because he has already backstabbed Chris before, which he actually did.

So I think Dave, knowing he is on the bottom and he's the weakest one on the tribe, if Chris is saying what to do, I think that's Dave's chance to say, "Hey, I'm going to get in with the majority, which is Chris right now."

And [Zeke Smith] is clearly "Team Chris," so it makes sense for David to go ahead and just go with what Chris is saying. So, I think Dave is playing a smart game in that aspect, so I don't fault him for that. But he still backstabbed me in order to do. But will it help his game? I don't know. We'll have to just wait and see!

Reality TV World: Yes, after watching last night's episode, it seemed like Chris would definitely have given up on Dave and stopped working with him if he had played his idol to save you.

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: Yeah.

Reality TV World: Because Dave thought at one point you'd remain the main target if you stuck around, but I could totally see Chris gunning for him immediately.

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: Yes, exactly, and I got that read at Tribal Council when Chris was saying, "The way this vote goes, if it doesn't go THIS way, then... this is going to happen." I think Dave was a little bit scared about that.

Because Chris, we needed Chris. He was a physical player. He was really good at the challenges, and so obviously we did need him to help our game. But, you know, with that being said, you never know!

It's still a numbers game. Chris is definitely going to be a target later on because he is physical, so I don't know if it was smart for David to go with him at this time or not go with him.

Reality TV World: Since Chris teamed up with Zeke, were you a little surprised you were the target before Dave?

Ciandre "CeCe" Taylor: Yes! Absolutely. Because, you know, Dave was definitely weaker than me in the water and he's so paranoid -- and the fact that he flip-flops, he definitely does. It's like, you can trust him and then you cannot trust him. I just was hoping he would stay loyal to me.

But Dave has flip-flopped a couple times. And the fact that he used his idol on Jessica when clearly, you know, he had told Chris and the rest of them that he was going to vote out Jessica, I felt they thought Dave was definitely less trustworthy than me.

So, I definitely was surprised that Dave was not the target vs. me. And to be honest, I thought we were just going to stick with our agreement and vote out Michelle, and that's what the agreement was. So, I never thought that Zeke was going to be the target at all because, you know, clearly Zeke and Chris became best friends the same day we got there.
