Actress McKenzie Westmore will reprise her role as host of Face Off.
Renowned makeup artist Ve Neill, special effects artist Glenn Hetrick, and makeup artist Neville Page will continue to serve as Face Off's judges. Michael Westmore, a world-renowned Hollywood makeup artist, will once again take on the contestant mentor role.
In addition to the show's sixth-season renewal, Syfy also revealed it will air two special episodes this November -- Naked and Painted and Judges' Favorites.
Naked and Painted will follow Westmore as she explores body painting with multiple guest experts, including former Face Off contestants and the industry's top body-painting artists. The special will feature two complete body-painting demonstrations in the lab and will air on November 12 at 9PM ET/PT.
Naked and Painted will also highlight the stars of Syfy's upcoming series Naked Vegas, which will debut Tuesday, October 29 at 10PM ET/PT.
The Judges' Favorites special will feature Hetrick, Neill and Page as they look back at the Top 20 contestant make-up creations over the last five seasons. In addition, the judges will showcase some of the funniest and most surprising designs in the show's history. Judges' Favorites will air on November 19 at 9PM ET/PT.
Face Off's fifth season currently airs on Tuesday nights at 9PM ET/PT. Last night's episode featured the remaining five contestants -- Miranda Jory from Los Angeles, CA; Laney Parkhurst from Manitou Beach, MI; Tate Steinsiek from Morris, OK; Laura Tyler from Orlando, FL; and Roy Wooley from Tucker, GA -- creating an original dark elf warrior character.
The show's fifth-season finale will air Tuesday, November 5 at 9PM ET/PT and feature the final three contestants creating two lead characters from Swan Lake: A woman transforming into a swan and the sorcerer who casts the spell on her. Dancers in the Los Angeles Ballet will actually perform in the make-up.
Face Off is produced by Mission Control Media with Dwight D. Smith, Michael Agbabian and Derek Atherton serving as executive producers.
