Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa appears to be in a bad place after hurting his back again.

"Awful news... life has been going so well and I've been so happy and healthy! Unfortunately... I injured my back again. It's very scary," the real estate agent and house flipper captioned a photo of himself sitting on an MRI machine table.
"Last time I lost 50 pounds and was taking large amounts of pain meds to try and help the pain."
Tarek continued to share in his post, "Truthfully those meds really affected my mental and physical state and changed who I was."
The last time Tarek injured his back, it took him a year and a half to recover and feel like himself again.
"As of today I can barely walk... I honestly can't even believe this is happening, I feel like it's a bad dream that I will wake up from," Tarek explained.
Tarek had multiple health scares in the past besides back-related issues, as he was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2013 and then found out weeks later he was suffering from testicular cancer.
"I will be truthful and say I'm very down because of this," Tarek admitted. "It is going to take a lot of positivity and strength to go through this a second time. I will stay positive and I will fight to get healthy again. I appreciate all the support. T."
In December 2017, Tarek disclosed to Us Weekly that he thought he "was going to die" after learning he had two cancers.
Although Tarek is going through a difficult time right now, his show Flip or Flop with ex-wife Christina El Moussa is about to take off.
HGTV announced earlier this week brand new Season 7 episodes of Flip or Flop will premiere Thursday, May 31, at 9PM ET/PT.
The series will continue to follow Christina and Tarek as they buy dilapidated houses in Southern California, transform them into beautifully renovated homes, and flip them for profit.

The new episodes of Flip or Flop, however, will chronicle challenges other than ones associated with home renovations, as Tarek and Christina also must maneuver through their new relationship status as exes who have remained business partners and are trying to amicably co-parent their children Brayden and Taylor.
Christina and Tarek finalized their divorce back in January, one year after Tarek initially filed the paperwork in court and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their seven-year marriage ending.
The HGTV reality stars publicly announced their split in December 2016 although they quietly separated in Spring 2016 after a blowout fight that resulted in police visiting their California home.
Tarek appears to be single and casually dating, while Christina has moved on with British TV host Ant Anstead, whom she's been dating for about six months.
