Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour met and fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise's sixth season in Summer 2019.

During the show, Dylan had no doubts in his mind that Hannah was his person. Dylan basically fell in love with Hannah during the first week of Paradise, but it took Hannah time to let her walls down and invest her heart into a new relationship after getting dumped by Colton Underwood on The Bachelor's 23rd season.

After Hannah worked through "a few obstacles" inside of herself, she accepted Dylan's marriage proposal during the season finale, which taped on the beach in Mexico and aired in September 2019 on ABC.

After the show, Hannah moved from Birmingham, AL, to Los Angeles, CA, in order to be closer to Dylan, who's living in San Diego, but it took time for the couple to adjust to normal life.

Despite the fact they were not living together and both have busy schedules, Hannah confirmed to People in November 2019 she and Dylan were still happy together.

The couple had yet to start wedding planning by that point, but Hannah admitted she'd like to have a private -- and non-televised wedding -- with her fiance.

Hannah and Dylan celebrated their engagement party in February 2020 at a beautiful Beverly Hills home with numerous Bachelor Nation members in attendance, including Hannah Brown, who was the target of Dylan's affection on The Bachelorette 15.

Later in 2020, the couple celebrated the one-year anniversary of their engagement.

However, in July 2020 Hannah and Dylan revealed they had put their wedding plans "on pause" due to coronavirus pandemic.

In February 2022, Hannah shared an additional wedding update in which she revealed the couple's decision to purchase a new home had caused them to delay their wedding plans even further.

"So yeah, the whole wedding update thing," Hannah said after a follower asked her about her wedding plans during Q&A session on her Instagram Stories.

"We did a lot of research and all of this stuff, and then all of a sudden, we decided to buy a new house. And there's only so much money in the world. So, coming soon. I'm sorry."

Hannah and Dylan eventually got married in a "magical" destination wedding at a French chateau outside Paris.
