The couple's first trip to the magical amusement park happened to be the pair's first one-on-one date on The Golden Bachelorette.

Joan and Chock, both 61, enjoyed a fun-filled day of rides and treats with The Golden Bachelor alums Kathy Swarts, Susan Noles and Nancy Hulkower.

"Had the most magical day with my friends & fiance at Disneyland!!" Joan wrote in a December 6 Instagram carousel.

"Thank you so much to the @iheartradio team and @sugarmanamy for making it so magical! Shout out to our tour guide Jeff for being the best ever!"

Joan added, "It was so nice to go back to the place where I first fell in love with Chock and get to share that experience with my friends. Next up... @iheartjingleball !!"

Alongside a video of Joan and Chock alone, Joan told her followers, "This is where we had our first date ever and it's actually where I fell in love with Chock."

She captioned the video, "Back where it all began..."

And while waiting for a holiday-themed parade to begin at night, Joan recorded a quick video with Chock in which she said their experience at the park was different this time around.

"The rides are super fun... and this time, he held my hand the whole time," Joan said.

Chock called the event "an absolute miracle," and Joan quipped, "Yeah, I let him hold my hand! He thinks it's really weird I don't hold hands."

Joan gushed about Main Street looked beautiful, and she panned the camera so her followers could see all the bright Christmas lights and decorations.

"We had a great day and it was very different this time because I did it with my fiance!" Joan said.

Chock also recommended a trip to Disneyland, calling it "magical," and then he and Joan pointed out how Kathy, Susan and Nancy are "looking for men" and are "single" and ready to mingle.

The Bachelor had gifted Joan and Chock a trip back to Disneyland when The Golden Bachelorette aired its finale in November, and so it's likely ABC had planned this visit for the happy couple.

Joan admitted during an early November appearance on the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast that she thought Chock was The One during their first one-on-one date at Disneyland.

"I did have a really quick connection with Chock. We had a really great one-on-one date in Disneyland was so good," Joan told former The Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe.

"Our rapport was just so easy, and it was kind of what you want! You are looking for that, and if it's hard, you're thinking, 'Maybe it's not right.'"

Joan added of the 61-year-old insurance executive from Kansas, "I kind of thought, 'He's probably the one!'"

Joan, however, said she knew in her heart that she shouldn't settle on choosing Chock too early. Instead, she decided to keep an open mind throughout the process.

"People do that [on the show]," Joan said of a lead lasering in on one person right away.

"Chock was the first one-on-one date that I had, and I was like, 'I can't do this because this happens all the time.' You've got to keep an open heart, and I knew that," Joan explained.

Joan told Kaitlyn that she had watched -- and learned from -- her Season 11 journey on The Bachelorette, as well as some other seasons.

"I had just seen [Gerry Turner's season], and I had just watched [Charity Lawson]. I also watched some pretty recent seasons to know that you really have to be careful not to invest too early because things happen!" Joan noted.

Joan elaborated, "And then in some seasons, you find out the person you really invested in or thought [was it], was really a different person than [you thought] and they evolve and become kind of a villain or some personality thing doesn't match with you."

Joan also said there are things you can't possibly know about a person while dating only inside The Bachelor bubble.

"You need to stay open, and I was really, really careful about that. Even when I was having feelings for certain people, every date when I sat down with somebody, I was pretending that they were the only person in my life," Joan shared.

Part of Joan's hesitation was apparently that she worried Chock was "too good to be true."

In late November, Joan explained to Us how it was "super early" to get so invested in Chock, considering their first solo date was during Week 1 of The Golden Bachelorette process.

"I did feel like it was too good to be true," Joan admitted to the magazine. "I thought, 'There's going be a red flag eventually.'"

But even though Joan searched for something to be wrong with Chock, she came up empty.

"I was actually really looking for that, but it only ever got better instead of worse," Joan gushed.

"At the end, I was so confident. I knew I was taking a leap of faith, but I felt really confident in my decision because you do get to know each other pretty well."

Joan and Chock celebrated Thanksgiving together in Maryland and decorated their first Christmas tree together.

The pair recently said that they plan to visit each other in Kansas and Maryland as well as meet in New York City at a shared apartment for frequent dates. They also have many international vacations planned for 2025.
