After Josh Duggar confessed to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar, utilizing a website to have extramarital affairs and developing a pornography addiction, he released two statements within an hour of each other -- and the second was edited.

On the Duggar's website, Josh posted an initial Thursday statement that read in part, "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."

In the revised statement, which was released about an hour later, Josh left out a mention of his worst offenses, according to People.

"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have been unfaithful to my wife," the first portion of Josh's latest statement read.

Both statements continued, "I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him."

The next part of the old statement was also edited as a way to seemingly avoid calling out the molestation charges against him.

The initial post read, "I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust."

Josh then wrote in the altered statement, "I have brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions."

The rest of Josh's two statements were identical to one another.

The former 19 Kids & Counting star wrote, "The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings. As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example."

His parents, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, wrote the lead-in to Josh's explanation.

"When we learned of this late last night our hearts were broken. As we continue to place our trust in God we ask for your prayers for Josh, Anna, our grandchildren and our entire family," the couple said in both statements.

Josh's infidelity and pornography admissions come only three months after he admitted to molesting six girls -- two of whom were his own sisters Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar -- about 12 years ago when he was 14-years-old. He just welcomed his fourth child with Anna about a month ago.

TLC temporarily pulled 19 Kids & Counting off the air following the molestation reports and officially canceled the series in July.
