She will be playing on the Takali (Gen X) Tribe when the franchise's 33rd season premieres Wednesday, September 21 at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.
Lucy wants to play Survivor in order to represent the hard-working moms out there who don't think they can accomplish their goals. Lucy feels with her life experiences that she's mentally, physically and emotionally "trained" for this competition.
Below is a list of 7 facts Reality TV World has compiled about Lucy Huang:
- She has four children -- ages 10, 9, 7 and 5 -- and she's been married to her husband for 11 years. She loves cooking with her kids and watching food shows.
- Lucy was born in Taiwan and moved to Brazil with her family, and then ultimately to America. Her parents owned a restaurant and were always working hard.
- The castaway should do well in physical challenges because she's a professional body builder.
- Lucy would describe herself as stubborn, hardworking and controlling. She can't stand lazy people and whiners.
- If she could bring three things on the island with her, she'd choose a picture of her family, a book to kill time and a journal to document her experiences.
- The castaway created a business that has provided over 200 jobs for over 10 years.
- Lucy compares herself to former Survivor castaway Jeremy Collins (San Juan del Sur and Cambodia) because she'd similarly be a strong player in all aspects of the game and gain respect from other players.
