Scott and Lizzie met and fell in love through a prison pen pal website called meetaninmate.com.

Lizzie, a former stripper, was serving eight years for several DUI charges, and although she admitted to using romantically inclined men to help support her in the past, she insisted Scott had grown into her true love.

Love After Lockup's first season showed Scott preparing for Lizzie's release from prison.  However, Lizzie ended up not being released and the season ended with her facing 8 to 12 additional years of incarceration after she was caught with drugs and a contraband phone in prison.

Scott and Lizzie then returned for Season 2 of Love After Lockup -- and this time around, Lizzie actually got released from prison after spending nine years behind bars.

Although his friends and family -- and even Lizzie's own teenage daughter Jazmyne -- were skeptical whether Lizzie really loved him or had just been using him for the $90,000 or so he had spent on her over the years, Scott ended up proposing to Lizzie only a few days after she was released and she accepted.

Things finally came to a head when Scott told Lizzie he had gone through his savings and spent all of his money on her.

"If you don't have no money, I don't need you," she told Scott.  "I'm done. Bye Scott!"

Afterward, Lizzie insisted she was breaking up with Scott because he had lied to her, not because he was broke. Butt even her own daughter didn't believe Lizzie and insisted Scott had just been another "trick" even though Lizzie wouldn't admit it to herself.

Although Lizzie later met with Scott and returned her engagement ring, the meeting didn't go well and ended with Scott throwing the ring in the toilet and both parties accusing the other of lying and playing them.

The Season 2 finale ended with an update that showed Lizzie working a factory job and living independently in a place of her own. Although she was struggling paycheck to paycheck, Lizzie really didn't care and was happy to be "succeeding" and avoiding a return to prison.

Meanwhile, Scott was shown having moved on with a new woman named Jasmine, whom he insisted didn't care about money and cars.

A post-finale update stated that Scott and Jasmine were taking it slow and steady in their relationship and that Lizzie was not pleased to have seen Scott move on so quickly.

However, Lizzie's displeasure was apparently short-lived, as Scott's relationship with Jasmine fell apart in dramatic fashion afterward!

A couple of weeks after Love After Lockup's Season 2 finale aired in March 2019, Scott posted a Facebook message in which he accused Jasmine of stealing his phone and trying to extort him, according to Starcasm.

"[Jasmine] and her boyfriend have been trying to extort money For me," Scott reportedly wrote before adding that the Jasmine and her partner had been posing as him online. "They stole my phone. She's The one that posted the picture last month. She has ruined my relationship with Elizabeth."

Scott then reportedly later posted another less coherent message on Facebook in which he also accused Jasmine and her boyfriend Carlos of bugging his phone and breaking into his house.

"I am So pist off right now. I'm sick and tired of people calling me a liar. This stupid c*nt Jasmine. Has an app in my phone. She can read everything. Her answer sorry ass a boyfriend Carlos. Are Now extraordinary for the money to bail her out of jail," he wrote.

"She Posted that picture last Month. And was calling Elizabeth. And leaving her text messages calling her Names. Her in a boyfriend Carlos broken Into my house. She has slept with everybody else But me. I guess I'm That ugly Not even a Hooker will sleep with me. I'll send the threats over to social media."

In May 2019, Scott also announced he was starting a women's swimwear business.

"Me and my business partner will be selling women's swimwear," he said a video posted on Instagram. "It goes for about $100 in stores, it's all high end stuff [but] we can keep it down to around $25."

Scott also said he was going to "go out and meet women my own age -- because I can."

In a later video, Scott also revealed the company would be called "S&L Swimwear" -- causing some of Scott's followers to begin speculating that Lizzie could be his business partner.

A few weeks later, Scott posted another Instagram video in which he said he will be changing the name of the business and expanding into other products beyond swimsuits.

As of June 2019, Scott's Facebook account states that he is "Single."
