Clint wasn't having much luck finding his one true soulmate until he found Tracie, who was serving eight years in prison for fraudulent checks and a parole violation, on meet-an-inmate.com
Love After Lockup's second season showed Tracie getting released from prison, after which the couple quickly got married in a ceremony held at a saloon in Houston.
However, the couple's relationship derailed immediately afterward!
Tracie got high on crack on crack on their wedding night and then stole Clint's rental car, cash, and phone and abandoned him in the couple's hotel room. Tracie did, however, leaving her wedding ring and clothes behind.
After not hearing from Tracie for eight days, Clint finally learned she had been arrested again but then gotten released and still never called him.
Then, after about two weeks without hearing from her, Clint finally got a call from Tracie and discovered she was in prison again. According to Tracie, she had violated her parole because she got pulled over by a police officer for speeding 12 days after the wedding and never reported it to her parole officer.
Clint insisted he was still in love with Tracie and arranged to get her a lawyer and pay her legal fees. Even though Tracie might have to spend another two years in prison and his parents felt he deserved better than "a drug addict," Clint still wanted to be with her.
Tracie, however, worried Clint's parents viewed her as "a gold digger" and that his friends thought she was using him. Following a quick phone conversation, Clint revealed Tracie had broken up with him and "the whole world got their wish."
But a few weeks later, Tracie called Clint and insisted she loved Clint and wanted to make things up to him. Clint said if Tracie messed up again, he'd be gone, but he couldn't wait to see her again and hopefully start fresh.
Tracie also revealed she got released from jail due to overcrowding and Clint and Tracie then reunited and hugged it out. Clint begged her to never leave him again for drugs or another man, and he reproposed marriage to her with the hope they'd stay together long-term.
Clint then also told Tracie that he loved her but she needed to gain some weight back, as she had lost a lot of weight in jail and Clint liked a woman with meat on her bones.
According to an update provided at the end of the Season 2 finale, Clint's ex-wife Haily later fired Clint from his job and he was now working with his parents at a meat market, but he and Tracie hoped to renew their vows soon.
And Clint and Tracie did end up following through with their plans, as according to Starcasm, Clint and Tracie got married in Las Vegas on March 31, 2019.
Since Tracie was arrested on the night of her Houston wedding ceremony to Clint, it looks like Clint never ended up filing a signed wedding certificate with the county clerk's office, resulting in the marriage paperwork never being recorded and the couple never becoming officially married.
Clint and Tracie are also currently starring on Love After Lockup's new Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup spinoff, and a season preview trailer has also shown the couple appearing to celebrate in Vegas.
Tracie also regularly posts on both Twitter and Instagram, and her social-media postings appear to show the couple is still together and living happily.
