Survivor featured the Lavo Tribe blindsiding and voting out Kishan Patel after Rome Cooney used his "Steal a Vote" advantage during the Season 47 episode that aired Wednesday night on CBS.

Kishan, a 28-year-old ER doctor from Fullerton, CA, was unanimously voted out of Survivor 47 with four votes from his Lavo Tribe on Night 8 at Tribal Council.

"I got blindsided, as simple as can be. Some people may have caught wind of what I was doing, which led to my downfall, so props to them," Kishan said in his final words.

"I respect the move. I respect what they did. Do I wish I had made Final 3? Of course! Do I wish that I won? Yes. But I have no regrets and that's the beauty of the game -- you never know what to expect, and that's what makes it fun!"

The Survivor broadcast began on Night 7 at Lavo's camp with Sol admitted the tribe had fooled him and he was definitely blindsided. Sol, who realized he was at the bottom of his tribe, said he was "upset" Rome was still around.

The Lavo Tribe, who were given red buffs, featured Kishan; Genevieve Mushaluk, a 33-year-old corporate lawyer from Winnipeg, Manitoba; Rome Cooney, a 30-year-old E-sports commentator from Corvallis, OR, who currently resides in Phoenix, AZ; Solomon "Sol" Yi, a 43-year-old in medical device sales from Del City, OK, who currently resides in Norwalk, CT; and Teeny Chirichillo, a 24-year-old freelance writer from Manahawkin, NJ.

Teeny then apologized to Sol for having written his name down, claiming the decision was going to haunt her going forward. Teeny admitted she was a sensitive player and the Survivor game was difficult for her to play.

Meanwhile, Rome celebrated Aysha Welch going home and the prior Tribal Council going his way, and he felt like he was totally in control.

"If we go back to Tribal Council, I am 110% confident it's going to be Sol," Rome boasted to the Survivor cameras.

The next day, at Gata's camp, the women were banding together.

The Gata Tribe, wearing yellow, was comprised Anika Dhar, a 26-year-old marketing manager from Santa Rosa, CA, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA; Andy, a 31-year-old AI research assistant from Buffalo, NY, who currently resides in Brooklyn, NY; Rachel LaMont, a 34-year-old graphic designer from Dexter, MI, who currently resides in Southfield, MI; Sam Phalen, a 24-year-old sports reporter from Schaumburg, IL, who currently resides in Nashville, TN; and Sierra Wright, a 27-year-old nurse from Wilmington, DE, who currently resides in Phoenixville, PA.

Sierra, Anika and Rachel had formed a solid female alliance and proudly dubbed themselves "The Breadwinners."

At Tuku on Day 8, Sue Smey, a 59-year-old flight school owner from Kirkwood, NY, who currently resides in Putnam Valley, NY, was feeling emotional but wanted to feel the thrill of playing hard.

The Tuku Tribe, wearing blue, was made up of Sue; Caroline Vidmar, a 27-year-old strategy consultant from Palos Verdes, CA, who currently resides in Chicago, IL; Gabe Ortis, a 26-year-old radio show host from Baltimore, MD; Kyle Ostwald, a 31-year-old construction worker from Cheboygan, MI; and Tiyana Hallums, a 27-year-old flight attendant from Aiea, HI.

Sue was shown searching for an idol, and she ultimately found a "Beware Advantage." She had to follow a map to a palm tree, where she'd cut a vine to release the idol.

If Sue didn't find the idol before Tribal Council, she wouldn't be able to vote.

When Sue chopped the vine to release her advantage, a bucket of red paint splattered all over the ground and all over her hands. She received a fully-powered Immunity Idol that would last her until only five players were left in the game.

However, Sue had to quickly clean up "the crime scene" and wash the red paint off her hands.

When Tiyana ran into Sue at the well, Tiyana discovered what appeared to be blood on Sue's blonde hair and on her chin, and so Sue didn't clean up her mess as well as she had thought.

Tiyana was suspicious and smelled "B-S," and so she was determined to keep an eye on Sue.

Meanwhile, Sol, Rome and Teeny went off looking for an idol. Rome said he wanted "anyone but Sol" to find it, and so at one point, Rome followed Sol around and watched his every move.

Rome called himself a "babysitter," and Teeny thought the situation was very awkward. Teeny told the cameras that Rome was playing a really "intense" game and she wasn't vibing with that.

And Genevieve acknowledged that Rome was being really "rude" and she felt bad for Sol. Genevieve admitted that she could only defend Rome's behavior for so long, and she allowed Sol to think that they could be allies going forward.

Over at the Gata tribe, Andy had dropped his "Shot in the Dark" on the ground at camp and Sam called him "a clumsy player."

Sam didn't view Andy as a threat as a result, but Andy made an effort to bond with Sierra and work with her. Sierra told Andy about her "Breadwinners" alliance, and so Andy was convinced that he could trust her.

After his conversation with Sierra, Andy told Sam about the "Breadwinners" alliance. Sam was angry because Sierra had never given him the same information.

Sierra pitched the idea of taking out Andy next, but Sam told the Survivor cameras that wasn't going to happen because Andy was absolutely essential to his game. Sam and Sierra then started bickering about their next move like an old married couple.

On Day 8, the three tribes met Survivor host Jeff Probst for the next Immunity Challenge.

Each tribe was required to roll a heavy metal cube, retrieve two bags hanging from above, use pieces inside the bag to build a window frame, and then pass sandbags through the frame and onto a barrel.

If a player knocked down the frame, they'd have to rebuild it and try again. Once they landed the sandbags, they'd dig up a key, open a gate, and then two tribe members would work together to solve a big Survivor fire puzzle.

The first tribe to finish would receive three egg-laying hens, and the second-place tribe would earn six eggs to eat.

The losing tribe would be forced to attend Tribal Council that night and vote out one of its own members.

In the end, Gata won Immunity and the chickens, and then Tuku finished in second place.

Jeff then announced how Gata needed to send one member from each tribe on a journey. Andy, Teeny and Caroline were selected for the trip.

After the challenge, Rome was certain that Sol was the target, and he considered using his "Steal a Vote" to secure his gameplan. Rome didn't want Sol to play his "Shot in the Dark," and a Survivor castaway needs his or her vote in order to play "Shot in the Dark."

Kishan thought about making Sol feel comfortable, and so Rome lied to Sol by saying that if Sol gave him the "Shot in the Dark," he would steal Genevieve's vote at Tribal Council and try to save Kishan.

"If you don't give me your Shot in the Dark, I am using my Steal a Vote on you tonight and then you can't play your Shot in the Dark anyway. I am letting you know that right now -- and you will be gone," Sol shared with his tribemate.

"What are you talking about, bro?! You are, like, threatening me right now!" Sol replied.

"This isn't a threat. I'm just letting you know the situation," Rome replied.

Sol questioned if this was real life, but Rome just snapped in reply, "It's Survivor, bro."

Sol didn't respect how Rome had spoken to him, and so he had no intention of working with him going forward. Rome tried to position his request as an "ultimatum" rather than a "threat," but Sol wasn't happy and he couldn't believe Rome was treating him like that.

Kishan told the Survivor cameras that Rome was playing "chaotically" and that scared him. Kishan therefore pitched the idea to Genevieve of placing two votes on Rome and then voting out Rome on the revote.

Kishan explained in a Survivor confessional how Genevieve -- who was super close to Rome -- would become his close ally if Rome was no longer in the picture. He thought Rome's ouster would benefit him in the long run, but Genevieve wasn't sure she wanted to turn on Rome so early.

During the journey, Andy, Teeny and Caroline learned they could gain power in the game. They had to agree on one player losing his or her vote, and then they'd all receive an advantage, or else they'd all lose their vote and not earn an advantage either.

Each castaway gave their pitch, but no one was volunteering.

Before the timer ran out, Teeny volunteered to lose her vote. She thought Rome or Sol going home at Tribal Council that night would work without her vote.

The trio's willingness to work together earned them the Amulet idol, which would have no power until the merge. The Amulets also had to be played at the same time at Tribal Council to protect one person.

If only one Amulet remained in the game, it would have the power of a full idol.

Andy, Teeny and Caroline discussed using their Amulets to help each other when needed. Andy hoped it would be an opportunity for "peace and collaboration" rather than warfare.

When Teeny returned to Lavo's camp, Kishan and Genevieve let her know that it was okay she didn't have a vote and they were going to target Rome with Sol's help.

After Genevieve thought about Kishan's plan and how he had thrown her name out before, she decided to switch things up.

Genevieve warned Rome that their tribemates were teaming up against him because she explained how it wasn't in her best interest to eliminate Rome since he trusted her and would have her back going forward.

"I don't feel like I can trust anyone in this game but Genevieve," Rome told the Survivor cameras.

"My Steal a Vote could be massive tonight. Maybe we can just get out Kishan or I could block him completely from being able to vote and put two votes on Sol. Just like that, Sol would be going home! I'm willing to do it... because I already know this guy doesn't like me."

Rome pointed out how a "toxic relationship" with Sol would not be good for his game long-term.

Genevieve spoke to Sol about taking Kishan out instead, but Sol begged her to stick with the plan because he couldn't imagine himself voting out Kishan instead of Rome.

Genevieve noted it would take "a miracle" for Sol and Rome to work together.

Rome therefore apologized to Sol for coming across threatening to him earlier in the game, and Genevieve begged Sol not to think or vote emotionally.

"It could be a million-dollar decision," Genevieve told Sol, adding how she wanted to take a shot at Kishan that he wouldn't see coming."

At Tribal Council that night, Rome decided to use his "Steal a Vote" advantage to steal Kishan's vote.

Rome was therefore able to vote twice, and the move caught Teeny and Kishan totally off-guard. The pair were "freaking out" about how to proceed.

Sol also decided against playing his "Shot in the Dark" advantage.

Jeff then read the votes in the following order: Kishan, Kishan, and Kishan.

"That's not how I imagined it," Kishan whispered, before shaking his head in disappointment over Genevieve's betrayal.

But Kishan added on his way out of Tribal Council, "You guys are amazing. Good game. Good game. Damn. I didn't see that coming."

The episode's closing credits later showed that everyone -- except for Teeny, who had lost her vote on the journey -- voted for Kishan.

Rome had voted for Kishan twice, and Kishan was unable to vote for anybody.
