The Bachelor alum Kaity Biggar has revealed a wedding update with Zach Shallcross and how she retrieved her lost diamond engagement ring.

Kaity took to TikTok on Monday, November 11 and shared how, although she has recovered her engagement ring, she and Zach have decided to put a pin in their wedding planning for now.

"First off, wedding update: So we had a wedding venue, everything, and we actually just didn't sign it," Kaity admitted while putting on her makeup.

"So we are floating the boat ourselves on this wedding, and having a wedding projected to cost $70K coming out of our pockets is just absolutely insane and not going to happen, especially when we're thinking about having a family."

The Bachelor 27 winner pointed out how she and Zach are thinking ahead -- and that includes figuring out how they're going to pay for their children's schooling and "setting them up for a successful life."

Kaity therefore confirmed she and her fiance have decided to "take a step back" from wedding planning. They had previously met with a wedding planner in April and were eyeing a Fall 2025 wedding.

"At this point, Zach and I are just going to re-evaluate things, take a step back," Kaity said.

"Obviously we want to marry each other. We just want the best venue for the right price tag, as we all do. We also have the rest of our lives together, so it's like, 'Why are we rushing into anything?'"

Kaity explained the couple has just been taking things "day by day," and she added, "[We're] loving being with each other and building our relationship more and more."

Kaity also revealed she and Zach are gifting each other a trip to Tokyo for Christmas, although they may not go on the trip until Spring 2025.

"Let's talk about how we got this bad boy back. I am an engaged woman again! Basically it was eight days, didn't have the ring, freaking out," Kaity said.

Kaity noted that she had informed ABC of her missing ring because they insure it for her.

"Day 8, I got a call from [Daisy Kent] from [Joey Graziadei]'s season, and she got a little phone call from somebody saying, 'Are you missing a bag?' This is what I find really weird! Daisy was like, 'Yeah, my friend is missing a bag,'" Kaity revealed.

The bag then showed up to Kaity's house the next day, which Kaity also found "so weird."

Kaity added, "I have no idea how Daisy's friend/team was aware about the bag, but anyways, we got it back. I didn't really ask a whole lot of questions because I was just happy to have my engagement ring back. But yeah, that's what happened."

Last week, Kaity had revealed that she lost her engagement ring while traveling back to her home in Austin, TX, from a trip.

"I had a connecting flight in Miami. So I got off my first plane in Miami and had to recheck my bag and go through customs... When I got to the Austin airport, my driver was looking for my bag, I'm looking for my bag, can't find it," Kaity shared at the time.

Kaity continued, "And guess what's in my bag? My ring is in my checked bag."

Kaity said when she asked the airline office for her bag's location, she was told her luggage "didn't make it" but would arrive that night or the next morning.

"It's been six days and I do not have my engagement ring," Kaity lamented last week.

"I also had $1,100 of makeup and hair care in there... You better find that damn bag or Neil Lane will be coming for you... So if you're going to learn anything from my experience, please don't put your diamonds or valuables or anything in a checked bag."

Zach and Kaity got engaged on The Bachelor's 27th season, which filmed in late 2022 and aired in early 2023. Zach had selected Kaity over his runner-up Gabi Elnicki.
