Charity and Joey's chemistry is apparent on the show, and The Bachelorette star gushed about how he's "special" during the July 27 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

"Me and Joey's connection continuously grows at a very consistent and good rate. It's not too quickly," Charity shared with the podcast's co-hosts, Bachelor in Paradise spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

"It's not like we're trailing behind. And I feel like, for me and him, obviously [our date in New Orleans] was another turning point in our relationship."

Charity recalled how she and the 27-year-old tennis pro from Koloa, HI, had "a very important conversation" surrounding interracial dating and potentially meeting his family.

"I think me not realizing maybe ahead of time, as open as Joey was, I think, for me, that was something that really continued to captivate me," Charity said.

"And so, yeah, Joey is someone who is just super special. He has a pure heart, and I feel like I get the full Joey every time I'm with him."

Charity seemed to be referring to the latest The Bachelorette preview, which showed Joey's uncle Joe asking Charity if she had been "getting the whole Joey" and seeing every side of him.

Charity added how Joey had a "calming presence" that she really appreciated about him.

"That's really what I need as a lead of the show, but also in real life," Charity noted. "He's just a rock!"

Charity told Joe and Serena that she trusted Joey was showing her everything and that's all she could do.

Charity and Joey shared one of the most intimate moments of The Bachelorette season so far when they broke the record for "the longest kiss in Bachelor-Nation history" with a four-minute and 25-second makeout session.

And in New Orleans, Charity and Joey soaked in local culture and had a blast together.

Charity told the cameras how Joey made her feel safe and seen. She said the bachelor always managed to sweep her off her feet.

And Joey, in turn, told Charity that they had something special and he always missed her when she wasn't around.

Charity called Joey's energy "infectious" and said she craved more of him when they were apart. The pair's romantic day in New Orleans was "reassuring" for Charity, and she was able to picture what their life might look like together after the show.

Charity told the cameras of Joey, "This man could be my husband, and I see a forever future with him." She said they had reached a new emotional peak in their romance just before hometowns.

"I can see a finish line with her," Joey said in a confessional before introducing the Bachelorette to her family.
