The Family Chantel featured Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno unable to hide their relationship issues during a housewarming party and Nicole Jimeno competing in the Miss Dominican Republic beauty pageant during the Season 4 episode that aired Monday night on TLC.

"This should be Pedro and I celebrating our new home, but he is not invested. He is uninterested. We are still not in a good place," Chantel told the cameras.
Pedro had no idea why Chantel wanted to do this party, and he thought she had invited too many people and was going overboard with the food and cake.
"If me and you are not on good terms, why do you want to fake it in front of your family?" Pedro questioned in a confessional.
Chantel asked Pedro to help her make the Sangria and remove their cat's toys from the living room, and Pedro was moaning and groaning. Given there had been a lot of tension between the couple, Chantel essentially asked Pedro to respect her and their privacy during the party.
Pedro promised to try his best, but Chantel complained about Pedro not putting any effort into their party. In fact, Chantel felt like she was "the only person showing up" to their relationship at that point.
Chantel welcomed her parents, Karen and Thomas Everett, into her home, but Pedro stayed on the couch and didn't seem excited to see his relatives. Pedro didn't exactly play host.
Karen and Thomas also brought up how Pedro and Chantel should have kids, and Pedro announced how they'd have to wait a little longer for grandchildren. Pedro even threw out "five years" as a possibility because he admitted he didn't want to have kids with Chantel any time soon.
"I believe she's not mentally prepared and we [are] not emotionally ready to bring a baby to this world," Pedro insisted in a confessional.

Chantel told the cameras how she'd probably need to freeze her eggs in order to avoid having a high-risk pregnancy in her late thirties.
RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOWChantel's brother River showed up to the party with a nearly-shaved head, which was a big change for everyone, especially Karen and Chantel. Karen admitted she wasn't ready for her son to cut all of his curls off.
Winter Everett couldn't drink at the party because she was still post-op, and she had already lost 15 pounds in a few weeks. Winter said she had a healthier relationship with food and was trying to put better things into her body.
Winter, however, admitted things weren't going well with her long-distance "friend" because he had asked her for cologne and a new phone. Winter was proud of herself for not doing something that would have made her feel uncomfortable, and she began pulling back from him.
Chantel didn't mind everyone putting Pedro on the spot because she said their communication had been lacking. Chantel said she was open ears and wanted to know what her husband was thinking.
Chantel and Pedro ended up arguing about needing to be more grateful, and Chantel announced how she had gotten Pedro to the U.S. and so he needed to show her more respect. Pedro said Chantel did what she had asked him not to do.
Pedro said he didn't feel good about Chantel throwing things in his face, and Winter could tell Chantel and Pedro had argued before everyone arrived.
"Right now, my Pedro is not treating me like his queen. I am not his queen right now," Chantel said in a confessional.

But Chantel wasn't willing to let her parents in on her problems in order to maintain the integrity of Pedro and his relationship with her family. Chantel knew her parents would always take her side, and she claimed she didn't need any advice from them.
Karen, however, promised to get to the bottom of things, before the family checked out River's new solo apartment. Pedro and River had come along way to having a brotherly friendship.
Chantel was glad her family was embracing Pedro, but she wished he would be just as wonderful to her.
Meanwhile, Nicole Jimeno was getting her hair and makeup done for the beauty pageant. She could barely hold back her tears since this competition was a dream come true for her.
Nicole's mother Lidia and friends, including her best friend Coraima, attended the pageant as well as some of Nicole's relatives who lived a bit farther away. Nicole was upset and hurt, however, that Pedro hadn't even sent her a single message of support or encouragement.
As the pageant was about to start, Nicole wondered if she really had it in her to be a queen. She was extremely nervous and felt all of her confidence plummet before walking out onstage.
Nicole said her breakup with Alejandro, who was allegedly a jealous man, inspired her to compete in this pageant. She said this event helped her to get over Alejandro and even rub her success in his face.
"F-ck Alejandro, okay?! I don't need you," Nicole said, adding that winning the pageant would also shut Chantel's mouth. "If I win, Chantel can kiss my ass!"

Nicole made the Top 10 in the competition, and she hoped to make the Top 5 and answer an onstage interview question. However, Nicole didn't make the Top 5, and she nearly cried about letting down her mother in the audience.
Nicole said it was one of the most devastating moments of her life, and Lidia complained about how some of the women in the Top 5 had "can" hips or had "big asses" not fit for the crown.
"The jury has to be blind," Lidia said. "From my point of view, she has been a great winner. I've never seen her as a loser. Why? Because I know she has too much potential for me to call her that. For me, she is one of the best of those who were there."

A few days after the pageant, Alejandro set out to win Nicole back. Nicole had lost trust in Alejandro for sending a message to another woman, and he owned up to having done some immature things.
Alejandro called Nicole "controlling" and "jealous" at the start of their relationship, but he still thought they belonged together.
Alejandro, who had been living in New York, therefore surprised Nicole in the Dominican Republic and was ready and willing to do whatever it takes to get her back.
Nicole was shocked to see him and asked what he was doing at her job.
