Joan also accepted Chock's marriage proposal at The Golden Bachelorette's Final Rose Ceremony in Bora Bora.
"I waited until this moment, in this amazing location, to tell you that I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Joan shared with Chock before he popped the question and Joan said yes.
The Golden Bachelorette finale began with host Jesse Palmer teasing a "dramatic and unforgettable" ending of Joan's season live from Los Angeles.
The studio audience included upcoming The Bachelor star Grant Ellis and The Golden Bachelor alums Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles.
Footage then flashed back to the final days of Joan's journey. She was feeling rejected and "unlovable" after Pascal Ibgui quit on her and admitted he wasn't in love with her.
"Will anybody love me again?" Joan cried to the cameras, adding how Pascal's exit really "hurt" her.
The Golden Bachelor alum Nancy Hulkower came to the rescue and comforted Joan. Joan said she had lost confidence in herself and worried this process wasn't going to work for her, but Nancy advised her friend not to give Pascal that type of power over her.
Joan realized she needed to move forward and just have faith the process could end with an engagement. She was also in beautiful Bora Bora.
Joan therefore became excited to introduce her Final 2 bachelors, Chock and Guy, to her family. Her children had flown halfway across the world to support her.
Chock met Joan's kids first, and her son Nick talked to Chock about how it was Joan's turn to be happy but Chock had some very large shoes to fill.

Chock assured Nick that he could never replace his father and he'd never try to. Chock explained that his goal was just to live a fulfilling life with Joan, love her, have adventures, and make her happy.
Nick said he trusted his mom to make the right decision and Chock was everything he hoped his mother would have found. Nick called Chock "a fantastic person," and he later told Joan that the bachelor had exceeded his extremely high expectations.
Nick also told Joan that they couldn't be more proud to be her children and all they wanted to do was lift her up. Joan finally felt safe and loved, and she felt her kids had given her their blessing to put her happiness first for once.
Chock didn't think the day could've gone any better, and then he had his final The Golden Bachelorette date with Joan.
Chock was prepared to propose marriage, and so he planned to tell Joan exactly how he felt that evening.
Over a couple glasses of champagne, Chock asked Joan if she felt good about them, and Joan confirmed that she had let her guard down and emotions were flowing.
"If I hadn't gone through the hard days, these good days wouldn't seem as great as they are," Joan told the bachelor.

Chock gifted Joan a red-heart keychain with a couple of keys attached as a symbol of his commitment to her, and he revealed that he'd love for them to look for a place in New York City together. Joan cried and said she had wanted this for so long.
"I can hardly breathe to tell you the truth. It's overwhelming," Joan said. "Every minute I'm with you, I get happier and happier."
Chock then opened up to Joan like never before on The Golden Bachelorette.
"I'm crazy about you. I want to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you. I want you to know that I love you. I love you, I do," Chock told Joan.
Joan's eyes told Chock that she was in love, but she didn't say those words back. Joan had made a promise to herself that she'd wait until the end to profess her love to only one man.
Chock was a little disappointed to not hear how Joan felt, but he repeated how he loved her multiple times. Chock, however, said it would be tough to get engaged without hearing, "I love you," back.
Chock wished Guy well on his upcoming date with Joan, but, deep down, he didn't want it to go well because he wanted to be The One for Joan.
The next day, Guy revealed that he had fallen in love with Joan and it felt really good. He said his intentions were to get down on one knee.
But Joan apparently wasn't on the same page as her The Golden Bachelorette runner-up.
"I woke up this morning thinking about the date that I had with Chock yesterday," Joan told the cameras.
"We really had a connection, and hearing that he loves me and he wants to spend the rest of his life with me, I realize that I actually fell in love. It actually happened. I know where my heart is at, and I know what I have to do."
Joan therefore headed to Guy's room, and she had a feeling that he wasn't going to see this coming at all.

"Today, you're supposed to meet my family, so my biggest hope and my biggest fear were kind of that I would have strong feelings for at least one person," Joan explained.
"And the scary part was I would have to send somebody home. So I'm here to tell you that my heart belongs to somebody else. I care about you so, so much."
Joan shared with Guy that she cared so much about him, and as she spoke, the bachelor's eyes welled up with tears. Joan told Guy that she didn't want to put him through meeting her family only to get his heart broken on the last day.
Joan promised Guy that she never wanted to hurt him, and he cried in her arms.
"I'm so sorry," Joan said. "This is terrible."

Guy woke up feeling great that day, and he said he had fallen in love with her and was ready to let it all out. Guy admitted this wasn't what he was expecting at all.
"I made you think that you could be The One because I thought that," Joan admitted.
"And there's no changing your mind?" Guy asked.
"No," Joan confirmed. "I love you, but I love you in a different way."
Guy told Joan that he was about to tell her kids that he was going to pop the question, and he insisted to Joan they would've been happy together.

"I was ready," Guy lamented in his final words. "Losing Joan makes me feel devastated. I'm sick to my stomach. I'm heartbroken. I thought it was Joan. I really thought it was going to happen."
Joan felt really guilty to hurt Guy, but she said her heart belonged to Chock and not to Guy.
On After the Final Rose, Guy said watching his breakup with Joan was heartbreaking because what he felt for her was sincere. Guy said he was "convinced" that he was going to be her man but he still got so much out of the process. Guy said he felt true love with Joan but now he knows that he can do it again.
When Guy and Joan reunited onstage, Guy asked if something was missing between them, and Joan said it was the opposite actually.
Joan explained how she was "getting there" with Guy but it was a timing thing. Joan said in any other situation, she would've been with Guy. She said her heart was just further along with Chock at that stage in The Golden Bachelorette process.
Joan wished Guy well and noted how maybe they can double date someday.
The next morning, Joan woke up feeling happy when thinking about her bright future with Chock, who never thought he'd propose marriage again after the death of his late fiancee Kathy.
"I've only been in love with one person -- more than one now. I love Chock and I want to spend the rest of my life with him," Joan told The Golden Bachelorette cameras.
Chock then took a boat ride to the Final Rose Ceremony, where he slowly walked up to Joan, who looked stunning in a white sequin gown with pink floral appliques.
Joan's apprehension to tell Chock that she loved him gave him a little bit of self doubt, but he was prepared to risk his heart for Joan.
Chock then took Joan's hands into his, and he called her the most giving and selfless woman he's ever met. Chock gave Joan his word that he'd honor Kathy and her late husband John Vassos by loving her completely every single day. Chock reminded Joan that he loved her and wanted her in his life.

Joan proceeded to tell Chock, "I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you," to which Chock smiled, blushed and replied with a sigh of relief, "Thank you!"
Joan said she wanted to wake up with Chock in the morning and kiss him before bed at night.
"I have a question for you. I have been waiting forever to do this. Joan, will you marry me?" Chock asked, presenting Joan with a beautiful ring.
"Of course I'll marry you!" Joan gleefully replied. "Oh my god!"
Joan then gave Chock her final The Golden Bachelorette rose, a gold one in color, and he accepted it with all his love.
Chock said he felt like the luckiest guy in the world, and Joan said it felt so good to finally say, "I love you."
On The Golden Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, Joan and Chock made their first public appearance as a couple. They walked in holding hands, and Joan said it felt amazing to share their love with the world.
Chock told the world how classy Joan was during the season and how she had handled herself with dignity and respect. He said he was so proud of her.
Chock revealed that he and Joan had five Happy Couple visits, and they really got to know each other. Chock said they cooked, played games and had so much fun together.
Jesse then revealed ABC would be sending Joan, Chock and their two families to Disney World in Florida.
