Brandin's longest relationship lasted for three-and-a-half years with her college boyfriend. He was her best friend and she really thought they would get married, but she caught him cheating on her, so she changed the locks and they broke it off via text.

Brandin partially blames Mississippi for why she's still single. The good guys either end up moving away to go to college and never come back or they get married young, and she's not about to settle for someone who isn't perfect for her.

Tired of wishing for Mr. Right, Brandin believes that love will finally find her on Honeymoon Island.
