Patrick Hall is a pop vocalist who currently lives in Gravette, Arkansas.

Biography

As a young child growing up in Arkansas, Hall had learned to sing by performing with the Church choir. He taught himself piano by ceaselessly playing along with Top 40 songs. This not only developed his playing style, but it also influenced his musical tastes as he began to compose his own music. Patrick was particularly inspired by Billy Joel, George Michael, and Elton John for their expressive, lyrical and entertaining styles, respectively. At a talent competition, he caught the interest of Paula Abdul, who invited him to compete for the fifth season of American Idol. Patrick made his way through all the preliminary competitions and into the quarterfinals, but was eliminated out of the top 24. Taylor Hicks went on to win the talent contest. As a response to the experience, Hall wrote the song "One For The Ages", which addressed the process of trying to succeed in life, using American Idol as a metaphor. Subsequently, he was signed to upstart label NiFi Records, and plans to release his album entitled "One For The Ages" in March 2007.
