Stacy-Ann Fequiere, is an American model, best known for her participation in the tenth cycle of America's Next Top Model, where she was arguably the most controversial eliminee.

Personal Life

Fequiere has been married since she was 18, after getting engaged at 17. She is of Haitian Descent. Despite Ms J hinting at it, she stated she wasn't pregnant. While on the show, she received support from NSU where she studies to teach Japanese and Richard John, a former runway employer although it didn't result in any CoverGirl of the Week title.

America's Next Top Model, Cycle 10

Fequiere was the 5th girl selected to move into the NYC loft and compete to become America's Next Top Model, after showing her bubbly personality to Tyra Banks by performing a lap dance in an audition that has become an Internet hit. As a makeover she got a cropped hairdo, which she later stated she didn't like, critiques point out that it didn't suit her face well. Over her time in the competition she won two challenges and earned herself one first call-out. However, while being quite good in every department of modeling, as evidenced by her being the most "bookable" in the go-see challenge, she was criticized for being too "model 101".

She was eventually the 8th girl to be eliminated for having plateaued in a controversial elimination, since Fatima Siad who was in the bottom two with her that week, didn't have her paperwork to travel abroad (thus breaking the rules, which she also did by not being a US citizen) nor did she do the photoshoot, making Fequiere the first girl to ever be eliminated after having done the photoshoot when one didn't, which she stated was unfair, due to the difficult weather during the shoot. Ironically enough, Siad thought about stepping down for her before changing her mind.

After the Show

Fequiere has done several interviews, including the LA Times and has appeared in the June issue of Seventeen, as a prize for winning the go-sees challenge. She has recently been elected most school spirit by BuddyTV, which stated that she enlightened a drama-filled cycle. She plans to teach English in Japan after her modeling career.
