Andrea Muizelaar (born February 10, 1987) is a Canadian fashion model. Muizelaar was the first winner of the reality TV show Canada's Next Top Model. Before winning the competition, Muizelaar worked as a cashier in a dollar store in her hometown of Whitby, Ontario, and attended George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario for Hotel Management.

Audience Reaction

Throughout the season, polls on the official CNTM website showed that the audience frequently strongly disagreed with the judges' decisions. At the end of the season the poll asked, "Did Andrea deserve to win?" The majority of fans voted against her, with the top poll answer being, "No " She's too skinny and the crying gets annoying", which more than doubled the votes received for "Yes " She's the best candidate for couture".

After CNTM

Muizelaar has stated she has given up on modelling because she realized that her future does not lie in the fashion industry. Fans heavily criticise this decision as the title of 'Canada's Next Top Model' should have been given to someone who wanted it more, like fellow finalists Sisi Wang and runner-up contestant Alanna Shelast. She is back together with local Toronto man Steve Fortier. Rumour has it Fortier had previously been linked to starlet Leah Rucchetto.
